Cannabis high in THC may be helpful as a therapy for pain, inflammation or nausea/vomiting1. Compared to inhaled cannabis, ingested cannabis can take longer to have an effect, so make sure to start with a low dose and go slow. Unless otherwise instructed by your healthcare practitioner, we suggest patients follow Health Canada’s recommended “Start low and go slow” meaning patients should begin with a low dose and wait up to 120 minutes before administering an additional dose.
Similar to other prescription medications, dosing cannabis should be done with the careful supervision of your primary healthcare provider. Effects may vary on an individual basis.
Each bottle of Sedamen Oil will count as 5 grams of dried cannabis. To learn more about dried cannabis equivalencies, click here.
